Most Important Factors to Consider When Buying a Juicer

How many times have you rushed your decision when buying something and later regretted it? It happens to me every once in a while. Whether it is the shop assistant who is pushing me and in order to stop feeling uncomfortable I just buy the dress I’ve been looking at or I am in a hurry and just want to get something as fast as possible. Here’s why I’ll give you the most important factors to consider when buying your new juicer.
  1. Budget
  2. Yep, the price is important for all of us. You don’t want to spend money for something that isn’t bringing any value. Usually, the more famous brands are more expensive but that’s because you’re paying for quality. Some juicers are really cheap and others very expensive. Always look for what value you receive for your money and try to balance it.
  3. Noise
  4. Some juicers can be very noisy and unless you try the juicer in the store, there’s no way to know that in advance. And when buying online, you can even touch it. Some juicers are producing lots of noise you can’t even hear your own voice. One thing you can try is to check some websites with juicer reviews like Juicer Reviews Plus. Or go straight to the review section of the Amazon page of the product.
  5. Juice Quality
  6. Last but not least, juice quality should be your main criteria. Look for things like the amount of juice yield, the amount of pulp in the juice and oxidation. You don’t want your juice to get spoilt after a few hours, right? If you’re going to bottle the juice for later consumption, then you should consider getting a masticating juicer. They usually produce high-quality juice which can be stored up to 72 hours because they operate slow and less air gets into the juice.
  7. Speed
There’s no best option here. Some juicers are slower and others faster. What you’re going to choose depends on the needs you have and how you’re going to use the juicer. Are you always in a hurry, consuming the juice fresh without storing it and don’t mind more noisy machine? Then centrifugal juicer might be what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you prefer to have high-quality juice and don’t mind spending some extra time to get it then a masticating juicer is your best choice. It might be slower but doesn’t produce so much noise and as I said, the quality of the juice is higher. Be prepared to pay some bucks extra for it, though.
